Thunder
Bow River Rafting Expeditions is an adventure company
created from a vision that started 40 years ago when a young
man followed his dream and ventured to the Canadian Rocky Mountains
and the Foothills of Alberta; this was the land of the Plains
Native people. He wished nothing more than to learn to see through
the eyes of the true keepers of the land. Through his strong
sincere determination he was adopted as a son by the late Libby
Hunter and the late Joe David Kootney, spiritual elders. Through
their guidance and teachings of nature they sent this young
man on a lifelong journey to explore wild places and tribal
cultures around the world.
With 40 years of river running and exploration experience Thunder
Bow Expeditions is a vision come true; an adventure company
created by a life of adventure. Thunder Bow Expeditions is a
company for those who wish to venture into wild natural places.
